Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14

Faith Formation for Children

Welcome to our Faith Formation Program! Our program will teach your children Jesus Christ and assist parents in teaching their children how to become joyful disciples of the Lord through the Sacramental life of the Church and how to Know, Love and Serve God in this world.

Our Faith Formation program (K-Grade 5) includes catechesis, In-Church lessons, prayer, Holy Mass participation activities (altar servers, collection, greeters, presentation of gifts, etc) and parish/community service (Soup Kitchens). We will work with and assist all students to become engaged in reverence to the Holy Mass, which is a sign of our love united with the love of Christ in giving ourselves to the Father.

Parents are the primary educators in their children’s Catholic faith. Your active participation in your child’s religious education is a duty and obligation that you accepted upon your child’s baptism. The Faith Formation program helps and supports parents in this responsibility.

Sessions will be held on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month starting on the 3rd Sunday in September through May, from 9:00-11:30 am (Includes 10:30 am Mass), in the Fr. Donard Hall.

If you would like to sign up, click on the “Forms” link or to get a registration packet and/or for more information, please contact the Faith Formation Office at 231-238-8973 Ext. 312.
